Digital storytelling and advocacy are powerful tools for feminist peacebuilders to amplify their community’s voices, advocate for marginalized voices, create awareness, and build alliances on crosscutting issues in East African Feminist Peacebuilding.

 

There is growing solidarity among African feminist movements in advancing collective rights through diverse forms of media advocacy, in the face of increasing local and global systemic oppression and ongoing pushback. Recognizing this, the project supports feminist partner organizations in advancing feminist advocacy, expanding outreach, and amplifying the stories of their communities through both digital and traditional media.
